Spark Plug Ignition Wire Boot High Temperature Protection Sleeve
High Temperature & Thermal Insulating
1200°F / 648°C Continuous Exposure:
Higher Intermittent
This protection sleeve is designed to protect the ignition wire boot and spark plug from thermal shock and high temperature exposure.
Cooler air from the top of the sleeve can enter the sleeve and displace the warmer air rising from the bottom, keeping the plug cooler and protecting the ignition wire boot.
The base fiber is manufactured to the specifications of ASTM D-578, ASTM committee D13, and subcommittee D13.18.
This product is 100% Asbestos free.
Available individually, packages of 4, 6, 8, 12 and larger.

Benefits of our High-Temperature Fiberglass Heat Protection Products
Fiberglass offers excellent heat resistance, retaining more than half of its room temperature tensile strength at 675°F / 357°C, and more than 25% at 875°F / 468°C. It begins to soften at 1500°F / 815°C and melts near 2050°F / 1121°C. Non-combustible; high resistance to chemicals and unaffected by UV light.
