Fiberglass Woven Gasket & Thermal Insulating Tape: High Temperature, Heat, Flame & Fire Resistant -
Premium Grade & Industrial Grade - Plain and Bolt-Hole / Ladder Tape
Heat Treated / Heat Cleaned
1200°F / 648°C Continuous Exposure:
Higher Intermittent
This high temperature tape is heat, flame and fire resistant. Fiberglass (fibreglass or glass-fibre) woven tapes are fabricated from high quality type E fiberglass that will not burn and will withstand continuous exposure to temperatures of 1200°F / 648°C.
These high temperature tapes provide protection of industrial wires, cables, hoses, tube and pipe and also provide thermal insulation and personnel protection. Also used as a gasket or seal. Available as a Plain tape or Drop-Warp tape (center longitudinal yarns missing), often called a bolt-hole tape or ladder tape.
This material resists most acids and alkalis and is unaffected by most bleaches and solvents. It is flexible and conformable. For a higher degree of flexibility and conformability, consider using a knitted version of this tape (knitted fiberglass tape).
Available thicknesses include 1/32", 1/16", 1/8", 1/4". These tapes are available with Pressure Sensitive Adhesive to aid in placing the tape.

Benefits of our High-Temperature Fiberglass Heat Protection Products
Fiberglass offers excellent heat resistance, retaining more than half of its room temperature tensile strength at 675°F / 357°C, and more than 25% at 875°F / 468°C. It begins to soften at 1500°F / 815°C and melts near 2050°F / 1121°C. Non-combustible and excellent thermal conductivity to dissipate hot spots; high resistance to chemicals and unaffected by UV light.
